1 Who Is Nexxplane?
Nexxplane is a specialized service from Nexxwave, created to simplify your UniFi management. As part of Nexxwave, Nexxplane builds upon our proven expertise in delivering flexible, secure, and reliable IT environments. We combine our broad knowledge with the specific needs of UniFi users, allowing you to fully focus on your core business.
2 Where is my data stored?
We use datacenters in Germany, Finland and the United States. You can choose in which zone your UniFi server is hosted.
3 Can I also use this controller for UniFi Protect, UniFi Talk and UniFi Access?
No, unfortunately that is not possible with a hosted UniFi controller. For that you need Ubiquiti's own hardware controller.
4 Do I share the server with multiple customers?
No. Your UniFi Network Application runs on a completely dedicated server. This means you will never be bothered by other customers who could overload the server.
5 Can I place my UniFi Network Application on my own domain name?
That is certainly possible! You can use UniFi Network Application on your own (sub)domain in the 'Standard' or 'Plus' package. If you do not have your own domain name, we will provide a free subdomain.
6 How quickly can my server be operational?
Once we receive your request, we will get to work. We will deliver your environment within the working day.
1 How many devices can I add to the controller?
Each package states how many devices we recommend adding to the controller. This is a recommended maximum, but certainly not a hard limit.
2 Can I add more devices than the recommended maximum?
Yes, you can. You can add an unlimited number of devices to each package. However, we advise against this because the server specifications are not designed for this, which can cause the application to crash.
3 Do I have SSH access to the server?
That is not necessary, we manage the server for you. We take care of updates and we handle malfunctions.
4 When are backups made?
Every 24 hours we make a backup of the entire server.
